A new face-lift has been designed for the Dayton Convention Center, Dayton, OH by App Architecture. The project includes repairs to the existing exterior face and roof of the building as well as replacement of the new main entrance canopy and a new exterior wall mounted multi-sectional graphic display unit.

The main pedestrian and vehicular drive-up entry has been redesigned and re-oriented to provide dynamic views from automobiles and pedestrians traveling eastward and westward. The main entry will punctuated by a new multi-layered cone-shaped form. This element is composed of pre-finished perforated metal and stainless steel fabric mesh. This feature will change in appearance depending on available light.

The stainless steel mesh tower, with name DAYTON, will be constructed on the northeast corner of the Convention Center.
