App Architecture's Design of Wilson Memorial Hospital Surgical Suite Renovation is Awarded Associated Builders and Contractors 2009 Award of Excellence
Associated Builders and Contractors selected App Architecture for the 2009 Award of Excellence for the design of the Wilson Memorial Hospital Surgical Suite Renovations. Wilson Memorial Hospital is located in Sidney, Ohio and serves the residents of Shelby County and its surrounding communities.
The renovation was multi-phased and included four Operating Rooms (OR's) as well as support spaces. Three OR's remained functional throughout the project.
One of the primary goals of the project was to solve a work flow and material flow issue within the existing suite. Now all staff and materials flow in a manner that allows for optimum efficiency and sterile processes. Another primary goal was to outfit each OR with the latest integrated technology which provides for better work flow and efficiencies within the OR's.
