App Architecture was selected by the Madison Fire District—from a field of 27 firms—to design two new fire stations and renovate an existing fire station in the Madison, OH area. The first two stations will be constructed on new parcels of land with App Architecture assisting in the land acquisition/evaluation process. One new station will serve as district headquarters as well as a full-service fire station. The other new station will house a training facility and fire prevention services in addition to being a full-service fire station. Design work will commence immediately with completion of the first two stations anticipated in late 2012. The final contract award was made at the Madison Fire District Board's June 15, 2011 meeting.

Collectively, the architectural team for this project has designed 62 different fire stations around Ohio and in neighboring states and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the design process with the Madison Township Fire District, including current research, trends and design concepts.
